How did your daughter score the "brightness" or was the measurement the end point.
I suspect that she may not have used lumens, that she may have used something more in the nature of "eyeball," but I think the entire project is remarkable.
And a buck-and-a-quarter ain't bad either. Looks as if it more than covered the costs involved, so she's learned that science can pay.
