I checked out the link and the information is very cool. I especially like comparing my states to the national percentages and to other states.

The New York Times did a story: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/1...nyt&
oref=slogin as well as CBS news: Can A Tracking Device Curb Truancy? about a new program in Dallas that is using GPS devices to monitor truants and has shown remarkable success. To learn more about AIM, the program that helps chronic truants attend school and graduate, http://www.cjsolutions.org/ To learn more about the device being used to track truants: http://www.guardtrax.com/. The Times reported: “Nearly one-third of American students drop out of school and Dallas has the seventh-worth graduation rate among large school districts…” CBS reported: “When kids don't attend school, districts lose money. Dallas has the highest dropout rate in Texas, and this school district loses $10 million every year in attendance revenue alone.”
