She is adorable! I read once that the development of a child mirrors the development of mankind, and I hadn't even thought about the fact that men were once gatherers, and little children are really good at "gathering" when there is something like a bowl of fruit around. Excellent post!

What a nice picture and smart daughter. We have a hard time convincing my niece to eat fruit most of the time.
I have a habit of going on and on, sorry. Your photo of the bowl reminds me of a fund raiser event they have where I live. It is called Empty Bowl. You show up and pick out a bowl which you get to keep. They are crafted and donated by local artisans. Then you get a bowl of soup and piece of bread. $15 or so later and you have a cute unique bowl and feel good you helped out a good cause.
