Gravatar Well I have to admire the boys for trying and yes the school system kind of failed here but I have to strongly disagree in their blanket statement that bb guns are dangerous. I grew up shooting several bb pistols with my father and grandfather as did many of my friends and guess what…we’re all still here! I was heavily supervised up until I was about 17 years old. I wasn’t just supervised when I was shooting either. Both parents were always looking over my shoulder when I used the stove, lit the fireplace, put something together, went out front to play football with the guys, etc. My point? Anything can be dangerous if care is not taken. When people act carelessly, that’s when problems occur.

Gravatar Are you guys serious. bb guns arnt bad. I dont understand how they use "firearm" a firearm is COMBUSTION used to blow a bullet out the barrel. BB guns use springs and no fire/gun powder. When you cock the gun all your doing is moving the spring back. Then when you shoot it stays extended until you cock it again. I have used bb guns and airsoft guns. Both are not "firearms". The only way it is dangerous is if someone goes and carelessly does something stupid like shoot thier neighbor. I think Mass. PTO/PTA etc. need to look up the definition of a "firearm".
