OK, I'm going out on a limb here, but I think that the (D)onks have decided that in order to make the nation safe for the tossing of the Constitution and the installation of Socialism, they want to first reduce the inventory of weapons available to prospective militia members.
Study the Aussie model for clues. After their gun ban went into effect, the Socialist government started really pouring on the leftist controls, a process that has barely slowed with PM Howard, although he tries.
Over there, it's the gender gap doing them in. The youngsters don't have an iota of the pioneering spirit of their parents, and they don't care if guns are eliminated from their society.
Parallel here? You bet! The yutes are going for Obama in huge numbers, and if he's nominated, he WILL win, because the yutes feel that our (Boomer) generation has somehow missed the boat on world socialism, and that must be corrected. These are the same yutes who stayed home in the last two Presidential elections.
How did the yutes get this skewed view of political affairs? Look in the mirror, folks, and you will see the culprits, all of us. We failed to intervene when the Socialists turned our school system into Communist-lite Training Camp.
The coming conflict will be largely along generational lines, but there's good news, you can bait a trap for yutes with a hazelnut latte from Starbucks, and DAMNED FEW OF THEM WILL BE SHOOTING BACK!
