Talk to the Goat

they want to be aunts.... Im glad they are no longer holding their breath!!

I just got of the phone with my sister and her almost 1 year old baby Peter was Whinnnnnning and whinnnning and whinnnnning and Whiiinnnning the ENITRE time in the background...ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Awww... this is so cute! I can imagine how fun and crazy the party was, and what a blessing it is to have a bunch of fun and loving people to help you celebrate such milestone. I love your grandpa. He is hilarious!

you know what they say about girls with big feet...

i'm impressed that people can write down actual words when drunk. i just do asymetrical spirographs without the aid of that stencil/template plastic thing. i.e., scribble on paper (usually on paper, sometimes on walls).

I remember T and I opening our cards together after the reception (both of them). Man we laughed our butts off. You and Jason must've had a good time reading all of those well wishes. Huzzah!

Phizz - why does that not surprise me about you? And actually, I don't know what they say about girls with big feet. However, at a whopping size 7, I'm still not sure I qualify.

This was wonderful read! This made me smile, and so did the group of ladies' note. They sure are wise. Advice like that would have been helpful for me, like 12 years ago... LOL!

I see that Jason was bonding with your mother right from the get go. It's the food I tell ya!

Wow, I have to say that the whole thing, your wedding and the memories you have, is just so touching and memorable. Malay weddings tend to be very intricate with traditions and local customs but otherwise dead boring. If I ever get married, I hope to have such a memorable one too =)

Well I must say that originally, we upset almost EVERYONE with our "crazy" wedding ideas. But this wedding was for us, and we planned it for us. Later, everyone told us how lovely it was. I think we've made a lot of people reconsider 'tradition'. It's a good way, maybe, but not the only way.

Your wedding week has been wonderful. This hopeless romantic has been given a new lease on this whole romance "thingy". Sure, I know that you have your ups and downs and bed breaking, but you have given me hope.
You two are wonderful!
And how wonderful the books are to have and read forever and a day.

And a PS...If you ever wanna learn how to tap dance, I'll teach ya. I'll bring some wine or we'll fire up the blender, too. It will make the lessons more fun! Click click!

Want to know a secret? I am not a romantic at all. I think it's all icky. I didn't even want to get married in the first place. Jason is the conventional one. I don't like anything mushy, but one day I'll want to look back on these things I suppose, so in that way it's good to have them.

Also, I would love to make drinks and dance. Sounds like the way I live Tuesday-Sunday (it's kind liver-wise to take Mondays off). I took tap-dancing lessons when I was young, and I would dance in my grandparent's entrance because it had a cement floor and a great echo. My Pa would come dance with me, that's what he always refers to. Always. Every Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving.

Hmmm, you didn't meet his most of his family until the wedding? That gives me an idea! Infact I'll do the exact same thing, invite my family to a wedding cerymony one day and forget to mention that I'm getting married to a guy. Lol! (When and if gay marriage becomes legal, of course).

Awww, those are all so sweet. You should scrapbook those cards with pictures added in from the reception, in twenty years, it'll be fun to look through and remember. Nice honey, really nice.

"...she had special classes because she was so smart..." - fascinated, and taken back (nb/ NOT taken 'aback'). Pray tell Ms J?

Awesome. What a truly great original idea!
