I agree with you on that one; my grandmother has this habit of picking out the most orange foundation, and then applying it so thickly to her face only, that there is a line on her neck that divides the orange of her face and the white of the rest of her.
My mother has "said something" to her about it several times, but the thing about my grandmother is, she just doesn't believe you. So we just compliment her extra nicely when she wears turtle necks, and that way it doesn't show so much.

If we're talking about makeup dislikes, then I dislike when people wear colours that are all wrong for them and, when some people very kindly (and subtley) suggest different colours, they refuse to believe that someone who looks at them all day knows better.

I like the taste of meat, humans that are kind, and playing tug of war with the 8 year-old boy in my pack.
I don't like strange people with hats that stare at me without talking, dog treats from that yellow and black package, and people pretending to like me to impress my humans. (I will bark like a muh at any of these three things)
Bad radio reception is annoying for sure though, I guess I should add bad emotion reception, 'cause I can usually tell when people are hiding something and they think they are fooling others. That means that they aren't able to understand the awareness of others. They could learn a lot from non-human animals on that one.

what's pink gingham?
i like: being comfortably numb after a glass or three of wine, quiet at night, pink flowers, erasers, spiral notebooks and raisin bran.
i dislike: whiteout, dinosaurs, flooding, and curlies.

I like french fries, kissing, spooning, sour cream and onion potato chips, the smell of books, the smell of my dogs (even when they're wet), klondike bars, the smell of snow, a really cold beer, peach jello, smiles, reassuring pats (either on the back or on the ass), Derek, lilies, Jeopardy and Kermit the Frog and Slimey the worm.
I dislike kissing in public, people who spit, sneezing, cats, snow when it's around past its prime, wifebeaters (the shirt and the people too I guess), the color green, waiting for people when they are late, my fake front tooth (it scares me because I fear I'm going to break it again--long story, involves drinking), Jim Carrey.

The one 3-D puzzle that I always wanted! I love those things! I usually start and finish them all in the same night/day (or 2 days if its difficult). How can you not like buttons anyway?
I don't like standing in line for anything. I don't go into clubs, bars, coffeeshops, etc if I can't bribe my way to the front.

I like:
sleeping in, opening a new can of soft drink, picking the CD we listen to, barbecued anything, driving
I dislike:
rewinding VHS tapes, holes in my shoes, when underwear goes missing, when I can't tell the temperature just by looking out the window, getting my ass kicked at Boggle every time

I like honest people. Be it they are honestly nice or honestly mean.
I dislike superficiality.
I like the smell of rain. The sound of thunder. Butterflies and kittens. Warm chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven.
I dislike driving through the rain. Cold coffee. Having a cigarette but no lighter.

I love burnt toast. You can send me yours if you burn it. I think I got that from my dad's side of the family. Both him and his sister like to burn the toast, scrap off some of the burnt parts, butter it up and eat it. It's freaking delicious. Specially if it's sourdough. Oh damn. I'm getting wet just thinking about it.
I like my toast, like I like my women. Burnt, crunchy, crusty, and with a butter on top.

That's a fantastic idea for a post. I was thinking of doing a post somewhere along the same lines but looks like you beat me to it.
Are you sure you don't like computers? I don't know why, (maybe a certain blog has something to do with it) but I find that very hard to believe, lol!
Good post Jay!

Reading this, I've realized how apathetic to it all I really am.
There isn't much that I totally like, or totally dislike. I do things because they seem like a better alternative to whatever I am doing at one point.
I'm more of a: there are things that annoy me and things that don't kinda guy.
Sigh. That seems kind of depressing.

I like anything pink, including gingham.
I particularly like clotheslines and smiled when I read you affection for them.
I dislike crtical commentary.."If you havent anything good to say don't say anything at all" my grandmother use to say.
I dislike dress down fridays when in fact all I want to do is dress up.
Go figure huh.

I always thought dress-down Fridays were funny too. Lots of people are going out for drinks and cocktails after work, and so are dressed quite nicely to begin with.
I say, dress down Mondays make much more sense. People are bitter about another week starting, so why not let them be comfortable? I think pj Mondays would be even more merciful, but the world still hasn't conformed to Jamiedom, no matter how hard I push.

I like people that read my blog and leave comments (:
I like my pickup, 4 wheeling, moments where you really feel something, Zakk Wylde's complete works, porno, and wild girls
I dislike every picture I've been in during the past 6 months, being on the wrong ladder, the weekend being over, the series 7 exam, blacking out, trying to carry on a conversation with someone who's obviously 10 drinks past blacking out, the transmission in my truck overheating, and the fact that my hat has become old, sweaty, and not appropriate for social situations even though I still love it.

I'm stuck on the whole leprechaun thing? What's that about? They kind of creep me out a little bit. There are only three odors that make me nuts: the smell of melting crayons, the smell of peanut butter when you run hot water over it, and the smell of dish soap residue burning in a pan. Don't know why it was so important for me to share that particular info with ya Jay, lol, but it was for some reason.

Yeah, sparkly anything is good. I'm with you there and for most of the post except for the white chocolate-that was a little disappointing. Pies that are rotated on wheels are good , too...don't they look so much yummier than a still pie? (Judging by this comment, I guess I'm still not over Easter dinner.)

Personal space...oh yeah...I love that too...but I never would have remembered that I love it had you not mentioned it.
And PJ Mondays?...I am with you on that one, sister! I could totally get into wearing my bumble bee pj bottoms with my honey bear pj top & my blue scrunchy socks to work with extra sparkly slippers. Keep pushing, there are lots of people out here who’d be comfy in Jamiedom (or is it jammydom?)
