Talk to the Goat

Hallelujah.

Tomorrow is always too late. I suppose that's why there's that other saying - Don't put off til tomorrow what you can do today - or something like that.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I found your blog through someone who reads me and I read them regularly, but I cannot remember who it was. I got up entirely too early this morning. I blame it on my husband's alarm clock as he had to rise early for some overtime at work. At least he's not temporarily laid off right now and has work, so I musn't complain. Ah, c'est la vie.

you have no idea (or maybe you do) how that is close to perfection. like a smack to the head, right there, no escaping it. true, deep, simple.

Your timescale, your problem

Tell them you love them.

Today is too soon

"Too late" is really a matter of perspective. If you put something off until tomorrow, then it is too late to do it yesterday. However, you can decide to do something today that you should have done yesterday which will still be too late for yesterday but not too late for tomorrow. I guess what I'm trying to say is that today is tomorrows yesterday and yesterdays tomorrow so choosing to do something tomorrow just means that yesterday was the day to choose to do that which must be done before tomorrow which in all respects would be today. I'll put some more thought later. Probably tomorrow.

"Make sure you pull out!"

hear, hear! well said. someone should have smacked me on the head with that one sooner.

Why do today what can be put off 'til tomorrow?

My friends have finally become used to the fact that I operate on Jodie Time. I don't have many clocks in my house (well, that work anyway) and the one watch I have is 20 minutes early. So unless I turn on my computer, I never REALLY know what time it is. And mostly I don't really care. :D

Wow...& here I was thinking that you didn't appreciate brevity...

I know...ha ha...

Enjoy because life's too short.

Wonderful, possibly why I am now living for today ... !!

tomorrow is another day... how about that. so really it's not too late really. if you think about it...

thanks for stopping by my blog.

Yes it is. Tomorrow is absolutely too late because we are never guaranteed a tomorrow. Tomorrow may never come; or it may come without you in it. Living for tomorrow is like living on a maybe, and that's selling yourself short.

Jay,
If tomorrow was today, it would be yesterday.

As a wise man once said.......or was it small faces????

The chicken is undercooked, beware!

Wisdom, your name is Jay.

Keefer, that is a load of crap AND a cop-out and you know it. Time is fluid. There is no such thing as tomorrow. There is only today.

Yes miss

Well, I am reading this today, and you wrote this yesterday...so then am I in the future?

No, Mrs. Mogul, just a different time zone.

Keef, I like your style. You made me smile, not easily done.

I feel a bit sad. Thanks

I was looking at it from another standpoint -- you are right, today is all we have and tomorrow is too late. But I still won't be on time for it. :D

Wisdom 1: "No, tomorrow is Monday" or
Wisdom 2: "What would Jay do?" or
Wisdom 3: "Don't ask me"

Take your pick.
