University was fun. I wish I remembered it.

I've never heard spew described as a rainbow before but I'm warming to the comparison.

Great pictures!

You have me all nostalgic now. Hee. Ah, university. What a ride that was.

Living in the dorms was my down fall!

I've got plenty of drunk stories to share; too bad none of them happened at college. A rainbow came out of your mouth? I'll never look at Skittles the same way again.

I'm so glad I went to university AFTER I was in the Army... I got all of that out of the way first.

Oh yes, the college life, wasn't it just great? So many memories, so little learning.

I'll never think of a rainbow as pretty again, but it's a step up from vomit.

I too went away. We had Milwauke's Best (aka the Beast) for breakfast and lunch..sometimes for dinner. Booze, alcohol and excess weight. If I ever have children they are not allowed to go to college.

Rainbows....

You make it sound so beautiful.

Ahh...the joys of communal living!

I remember my crazy times in rez.... those were the good times. Some pretty crazy stories that's for sure.

Sounds like good time had by all!

Love the pics!

Almost makes me wish I'd gone to college...almost! Alas, not going to college didn't stop me from indulging in such adventures, you're "rainbow" description reminds me of the first time i ever drank..all was going just ducky feelin good when out of the blue I announced "Laura, I'm going to be sick", and then I did just that on her aunt's lawn amongst all the other party guests...the picture of class

"A rainbow fell out of my mouth." Coolest line EVER. I'm coining it. I'll give you credit.

Great pics by the way. Loving the pigtails and catholic school girl skirt.

You're a great advertisement for Skittles Candy..."Taste the rainbow."

I lived in a fraternity house...there - 'nuff said.

I totally owned that same skirt.

How many band and movie posters do you have in your bedroom now?

It didn't matter where the food was. As long as the drinks were about, and the posters were up, you were sure to survive.

Rainbows et al.

Ah, those were the days! A whole month of them anyway. And for only 70 grand too! Rainbows don't come cheaply.

I never finished college. I tried but the only thing I was majoring in was Partying...I guess we all had the same experience.

I had a different style of college;
time changes things.
Cute pics you have.
You were beautiful.
Well ! I dunno if you are now. LOL

Miss Jay sweetie, I would never excluded you and Jason from input into my post Please do join in.

P.S. I also went through the University bash in my younger years... but you looked much better at it than I was, lol

My rainbow days were more like the greenish tint in the atmosphere just before the arrival of the worst tornado in years. Yeah, good times...

College was a good time. Spent too much time having fun but I did manage to get a diploma out of the place. And I have definitely had nights when it seemed like a good idea to climb into this shopping cart and let other people race me.

Oh I know this all too well. My first few months living in rez are months I don't remember very clearly.

Ahhh... the druken reverie of youth (inclding my own)... another great tale well told Jay... it brought back a lot of memories.

Good grief, you are bringing back vivid memories of my own University Years. At my wedding, my matron of honour described how my favorite class was Wise Guy's 101. Wise Guy's being the bar on campus that I spent FAR too much time in.

Thanks for the memories.

I'm all psyched over that "Silverchair" poster I see in the background. Which just makes me realize how old I am that you were a FRESHMAN when that song came out. I'm a total fossil.

Okay, since you just got to college and you already had the poster you probably weren't even a freshman then. Wow. I'm a relic.

I was in high school when that song came out, and only freshmen are allowed in the dorms.

Great story, great pictures.
I never knew what I missed by not going to college

The didn't let me go to college. That's why I hate those people...

Skanky mattress and drunk friends? Where can I find a place like that?

Hi, how's it going Toronto girl? I bet things are a lot more exciting at your university than at mine. I can't wait to graduate! Have a nice day

HEY caught the Silverchair pic!!

YEAH!!

Rock ON!

Well at least you had fun rainbows and all.

The question is, did the fish survive?

Ugh! I hate those nights, love them, but hate the puking, and passing out and showing too much.

such sweet pics. Students get younger and younger. Like the policemen I suppose. Well, not much like them.

I'm intrigued by the special shoes to shower in?

Ahh those special memories. Yeah I have my own, like the crazy naked girl who ended up in my roommates bedroom.

well my uni was of the punk rock variety. i lived in a squat and left college to have sex with dirty boys with scabies and guitars. ah, memories!

Christine: yes! the fish survived! he lived many happy moons in his actual tank. we later got a puppy who became his best friend. when the puppy died, the fish died of heartbreak. but not of the margerine container!

my oldest is away at school right now, first year she was in rez, this year she is in a house with six other girls, in some ways she preferred rez, other ways, in the house. those are great pics, first thing i thought of was my daughter and the fun (and not so fun) times she's having. another year almost at an end.

I think I was putting my grandchildren to bed while you were having all this fun...and isn,t it a crime what you have to pay for an education these days? Dave went to Memorial when they paid students to go!

Dang, I' missed out on all the fun, I didn't get to have a higher education and look what all I could have done!
Wonderful post and thanks for the pics. Now we can picture the evolution of Miss Jay in our minds.

Ok, so I guess we can all agree, "A rainbow fell out of my mouth," is a new catchphrase we'll all try to coin. LOL...

And I cant believe this all happened within a matter of days. Can you imagine the crazy shenanigans that would have ensued?

P.S. I'm so jealous they gave you free beer cups.

It's so cute that the posters were the priority. I can't say I'd do it much differently if I did it today.

Great post Jay. Thank you for sharing your memories, and the pictures! You're such a beautiful lady!

3T

Wow, that brought back some serious memories of my U days. Cool.

What a great post! Love the college pictures from rez, you're so pretty

Man, I wish I could vomit rainbows.

Mine only looks like chunky soup.

Blimey, looks and brains too.... makes you bleedin' sick!
