Talk to the Goat |
Ouch! |
I can't tell you how many times I've done that! |
You know, finally after developing bunions and having back surgery, I learned my lesson. If I don't absolutely feel comfortable in the store with the shoes I don't buy them. I've passed up so many that were cute but painful. Now, if I could only apply the same principal to men.... |
Because of my ankle surgery, I can NEVER wear heels again, lest I risk another ankle surgery and 4 more months in bed. I will miss the pinch of walking block after block in beautiful shoes. |
Thanks for the comment! ... and congratulations! |
OWWWWWWIEEEEEEE... GAWD, I hate blisters. But great shoes. |
Are you EVER going to tell us about the high school student?? |
Yes, I suppose I will elaborate, but all in good time. |
beauty knows no pain. |
Nobody ever said that conquering the world would be painless! We must all suffer for looking good. (After weeks of interviewing, I learned to tape my feet up to protect them if I knew that the pants were long enough to cover... A little pre-wrap and medical tape saved me LOADS of pain!) |
I got some shoes *just* like yours and they don't pinch or hurt one bit... |
i didn't have to see your heels to know those shoes hurt. ouch! my theory is that high heels are a plot against women. |
Ewww that doesn't look like fun. |
You know I'm in already but we ought to start a benefit for your feet. Damn! |
i currently have 4 band-aids strategically placed on my feet from cute new pointy red shoes. i feel your pain, jay. i feel your pain. |
Here's a plan. first, have children, preferably girls, help them grow up to appreciate beautiful shoes and to assume that anything yours is theirs. Let them wear your new shoes first. Lovingly put bandaids where necessary, take back your worn-in shoes. totter about in delight. |
but those are such pretty shoes! |
Painfully provocative pics! |
Ouccchhh!!! That's gotta be hurting you so much!! |
OUCH! But very cute |
Very cute new shoes! |
Lorna: very good plan. A+ to you. |
Ouch. That's why I've moved from gorgeous, sexy shoes to Danskos and Crocs. Beauty just isn't worth that much pain to me anymore. But you're right, they're damn cute shoes! |
Wowee. And thanks for the comment :D |
Oh, and I forgot to say .... why? I don't know why |
MMMM think of the fun you'll have picking off the scabs though! |
Ouch! |
Ouch. Just keep wearing them and soon you won't get blisters anymore. I had the same issue with a pair of sandals I bought this summer. After a couple of wears no more blisters. It's worth it. |
DAMN! |
*sucks in breath* |
Also, the toe cleavage is adorable. |
Oy... I just barely finished up with the aftermath of a vomitrocious migraine this weekend, and I see this... |
Ooooh my fav shade of red! |
AH. |
You can get some nice suede stick-on thingys that help keep heels from sliding and making blisters. Great shoes though. And at least the blood won't discolour them. I need new shoes. |
ouch!!! |
I have had those damn blisters more times than I care to recollect. But I never get them from my trusty Havaianas. Of course, I never have sexy feet, either. |
Big time OUCH! |
I hate new shoe blisters. Hope that your feet are being nicer to your new shoes today! |
We call it "secretary's heel" in our house! |
I wore them to the car dealership, the LCBO, and the bakery...less than 30 minutes, I think, but I have very sensitive skin and terrible feet to begin with. I'm used to it. I changed into a pair of Jason's shoes and finished my errands. |
You are one hot dad with those red shoes! |
Double ouch. That hurts all the way to Texas. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. |
See, if you big city women stayed barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen like we keep ours in Louisiana, you wouldn't have them problems. And for training, you could run down to the store and get me a beer or six. LOL Just kidding Jay. Take care of them tootsies. Cute shoes and toe cleavage IS sexy. Have a good one babe. |
I love those shoes! I'm just afraid I could never pull something like that off without ending up in traction. |
Sorry about the blisters. Stay home Moms get to wear sneakers, so I don't miss blisters. Congrts on the new babe! I love babies, I had five! And real reason for this comment, I have this shirt. It's from cafexpress (?) online and it has the pink ribbon but underneath it says save the titties I thought you might like that? |
i ache just looking at them. hopefully, they'll heal and you can have new ones! |
I sure hope this doesn't turn into one of those in-depth and up-close operation shows that I have to change the channel away from. I can't stand seeing people's innards at all. |
Yikes! |
How do you get your toes to fit into that tip? |
Yikes! Like the shoes though!! Sooo jealous, I need to go shoe-shopping |
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
As much as I like (women in) high heels, it can't be worth it!!!!!!!! |
GORGEOUS shoes, not so gorgeous blisters! |
What if you just wear band-aids on your ankles? I bet it would cut down on the blisters, because seriously, you cannot give up wearing those awesome shoes! |
I just bought a new pair, hope the same doesn't happen to me! |
second the guppyman. |
Damn you women are tough... a man wouldn't put up with pain like that for style alone. |
What you need is a good pair of tube socks. |
didn't your mother teach you anything? Sensible shoes won't do that to you, GeeeezUs. |
Blahaaa!!!! That made my skin crawl. Probably because I've BTDT. :-/ Cute shies, though, even if they are evil masochists. |
or sadists. Whatever. |
Ouch!!!!!!! Cool shoes but not so cool blisters |
Random thoughts when I saw the first picture... |
