Talk to the Goat |

Is it the curse of the Christmas Rash? It's similar to the Christmas Zit. Although, maybe you're being plagued by an army of tiny Christmas zits. I hope you win the war against those 'bumps'. |
poor you! Haven't a clue what it could be - no one gave you a scarf made of some obscure animal fur for Christmas did they? |
Jeannie took my question....LOL. Maybe your Christmas presents are infested with fleas? or chiggers? |
I was just sitting down to large plate of tortellini...needless to say I won't be sprinkling in any Parmesan cheese this go-around... |
Have you tried Benedryl? |
try steroids (from the doctor, of course). it's the only thing that gets rid of those kind of rashes for me. what a christmas gift! |
Do you think it could be hives? I get them often, whenever I'm stressed. They itch like crazy and I have no self-control. |
No, they aren't hives; I've had hives half a billion billion times. Hives I can handle. |
Eek. Sounds frustrating. The vegetable peeler idea sounds like it'd be worth a try. |
Prickly heat? I know this weather has been reaking havoc with my allergies. Try and think of soothing cool things |
Having dealt with (and blogged about) what the doctor referred to as, "the worst case of poison ivy I've ever seen," I sympathize with anyone suffering from any form of contact dermatitis. |
Eeek... sounds uncomfortable. Allergies would be my guess. If not, have you been to Africa lately? |
uurghh sounds itcht, itchy, scratchy |
If you hate benadryl, try claratin, or even tagamet, pepcid, zantac. They make you less drowsy, and you can take a claratin, AND one of the others. |
Hopefully not shingles...ugh... its always a bad idea to scratch bumps, makes them spread! Feel better soon! |
Uggh... are you allergic to something you've eaten, perhaps? Tin cans, maybe? |
Can you try Cortaide? Also OTC antihistamine? Damn, that sounds awful! |
Operation Itch Like Crazy. Cute name. Not such a cute feeling, I'd imagine. |
Sidelined by a rash. I feared maybe you'd taken another trip on the reading rainbow. You can't trust that Levar Burton, you know. Especially when he's rocking that pervy moustache. |
I empathize with your endless itching. I have slayed many skin cells that dared to taunt me with itching. Oatmeal baths are a good way to quell the itching in the short term, and is almost glamorous |
Maybe you'll allergic to the holidays? |
Ack! I hope you didn't bathe in cheap, re-gifted bubble bath. That vegetable peeler image will haunt me for the rest of my days. |
Yucky itching. nothing to recommend but weird things, like vinegar. Actually quite good for itches and stings, or if it doesn't work you can always use it to soak the tea-towel that you wrap the ham in, beofre you put it in the ham bag. |
Try urine. It might help. Or, I might just want to see if you'll pee on yourself because I suggested it. Either way, try it. |
I used to get hives a lot. It's not a pleasant feeling being itchy 24/7. |
Ooooh damn that sounds horrible! I hope they disappear soon hon. |
Iew. Chicken pox? I got them at 24. BAD BAD BAD. |
Ewww. |
Aveeno Oatmeal Anti-itch Concentrated Lotion is the best stuff I've every found. Certain shampoos, cream rinses and laundry detergents (sometimes even makeup or lotions) do me that way. You haven't tried any new products, have ya? |
Mrs. CA gets these itching attacks in unreachable places occasionally. I always know when it happens because she'll grab me suddenly for an emergency scratch treatment. Now, I know why I don't cut my nails much! |
BED BUGS! |
I won't guess at a diagnosis (I'm sure Dr. Google will though), and suggest you see a dermatologist to get whatever good stuff they can prescribe to make it go away. |
That's too bad. I hope you work things out with it soon. |
Allergies? Sounds like you have really sensitive skin...are you using different laundry detergent or dryer sheets? |
Choose from the following: |
I would try and put a lotion (w/o any perfumes in it) on it. And plenty over the course of the rest of winter. That seems to help me, when I itch like that. It itches so bad, I end up scratching and bruising the skin. |
Hope you feel all better by now. Was it an allergy to something you ate (and I mean that in a g-rated fashion, because I often get horrendous rashes that meds won't work on). |
ewwwww. You poor thing... |
I still have the rash, though it seems to be getting better, if by better you mean that when you scratch hard enough, the bubbles burst and some sort of fluid runs down my neck. |
