Two things today: bubbles floating around the kitchen after I plunked the bottle of detergent down on the counter, and hearing somebody say, "he thinks he craps excellence."
I am happy because it is Friday and the club night for me, where I am able to relax and enjoy the company of others as fortunate as myself.
I am also happy thinking I have helped some one less fortunate than I to feel more happier right now than in the past.
I would be even more happier if others found a little happiness in helping others feel happy too

Today I replied to my bank's call from yesterday and their response made me happy.
Apparently my landlord decided to actually deposit my rent cheque on time, rather than nearly a week late as per usual, and so when I got the message, I figured it had bounced (it was payday yesterday). So, this bank is a credit union, and apparently they held on to the cheque for a day, which cost me $10 but the money came out alright, rather than me having a bounced cheque, which would've cost me $30. So that made me very happy.
Also, learning that Jay both read my blog and commented on it made me happy, as I quite enjoy reading her stuff.
Oh, and I forgot!
Last night I finished a pound of a local pub's Excorcist wings, which include a prize for finishing (it definitely was difficult). The prize was a Kilkenny pint glass and a Kilkenny leather coaster! This made me happy. Not to mention the fact that I collect pubware and have 2 shelves full of glasses from different brands of beer, and Kilkenny wasn't one of them. So it made me very happy.

I did have a tongue left, but it certainly wasn't easy-going. I eat the suicide wings at other bars, and have little problem with them. The last time I was at this bar I had the third hottest wings they had, and they were a piece of cake. But about half-way into this pound, I thought I was going to have to give up. I did make it through, though.
And I love the Everclear reference, because, as I said, I love that song, not to mention that it is one of their rather obscure ones.
