Am I commenting for specific things? Or will I get picked to win something random? Either way, I love it, and I will tell you that we are setting up an old computer for our 3.5 year old son for Christmas so I would love to win CD Rom games for him.
Thanks!

My 18-month-old daughter got the tea set from her grandparents a couple of months ago, and she loves it. It's so simple and safe, and the pieces are sized just right for her little hands. The colors are beautiful, too-- you'd never know they were so "green"!
They also have a cookware/dinnerware set that's going on her Christmas like.

We were planning to go light this Christmas, but you have inspired so many great ideas! I've been thinking about getting my 14-month-old son a globe, because we are big travelers and about to take our first overseas trip with him; I hope to encourage a love of travel in him too! He is currently obsessed with feeding his stuffed animals, and I have been toying with the idea of a baby doll. Other things on your list that look like great fits for his current obsessions: pixar world of cars, lincoln logs, wooden car carrier and the nerf football.

With 3 kids to buy for this year a free pass on one of them would be terrific! Any of the following would work for one of my three -- thanks for the inspiration!
I was at Columbia Mall today and they were constucting the Santa village and trees were up and decorated -- is it really only November 5th?
Electronic Safe (essential with a 1 year old walking around)
Lincoln Logs (yea, a non battery toy!)
Smart Globe
Walkie Talkies
I Spy for Wii
Meet the Cars Book (for my husband, he has a Hudson)
Bounce Back Racer (maybe a R/C that lasts more than a day?)
Dressy Daisy boll (sweet for our little one)

I love the focus on smart presents. The recycling kit would bring some follow-up education to my boys who trapse down to the sidewalk with me every time I sing a silly song about recycling. they hear me say I abhor waste, but i think it is still a theory, not a practical idea to them. they are only 3.5 and 1.5. However, this would be a great way to make it more concrete.
so many of your picks--specifically the Pajama Squid ones-- are green and chic. bravo for showing how cool sustainability can be.

You have complied a good list of items. Some of them are classic like the Lincoln Logs and the Playdoh. Others look new and exciting to try.

My 2.5 yr old spotted Lincoln Logs the other day when we toured a preschool and looked very interested! I think Santa will deliver them to our house this year. Great selection of gifts here!

Thank you for this wonderful holiday gift listing. We played with Lincoln Logs as kids, learned Spanish and love the Boca Beth learning series, and always wanted a dollhouse or Twilight Turtle. The stacking tree is also pretty clever...thanks again for gathering this list together.
