We'd be down for a Foo Fighters kids album----that would be fabulous! In the meantime, would love to check out this album that you've recommended!
My favorite band did make a kids album, last year or the year before (after 3 kids, all the years run into each other!) BNL's Snacktime is just awesome, and the kids and I love listening to it. (And I'll admit that I've put it on in the kitchen CD player... even when the kids weren't around...)

I think a kids CD by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones would surely rock in a ska punk kind of way. I'd also love to see one by the Beastie Boys now that they are dads themselves and another from the Chili Peppers. And I have to agree with Melanie about one from U2!
Counting Crows should make a kids album!!!!

It would be fab if Aerosmith would contribute to it. My daughter loves their song Dude Looks Like a Lady and I think she'd get a kick outta them doing some kids songs. 
Definitely Aerosmith should record a kids' album!!!!!!
I love They Might Be Giants, and we did find a kids' CD by them, which is hilarious and really funny. Lots of alphabet type songs, such as C is for Conifer.
This is probably impossible, but I'd love the the Black Eyed Peas to make a kids' album!

We need something to compliment the wonderful new album by Ziggy Marley and "friends" (such as Willy Nelson!).
