Fancy Nancy and the Posh Pup is so cute.
Also, Daniel Kirk's The Truck is Stuck and Chugga Chugga Choo-choo we love.
We're also into the Arthur series--my youngest has us read Arthur's Baby about 800 gazillion times a day.

My daughter just turned 2, and she's obsessed this month with the Skippyjon Jones books--they're great for reading aloud, if your child is into the sound and rhythms of language.
"Tacky the Penguin" and "The Teeny Tiny Ghost" are two more favorites in our house.
And she also loves the classic Little Golden Books, especially The Tawny Scrawny Lion and The Saggy Baggy Elephant.
