My daughter sounds a lot like yours. I think she owns more princess/barbie costumes than dresses. The people at the grocery store look forward to seeing which princess she chooses to be for the day. Since she got her zebra print cowgirl hat she does not wear her tiaras and crowns though. I love it, we get out of the door on time with no arguing and she is very happy to get all of the attention from strangers.
