we love...duncan and dolores (a reading rainbow book). it is especially wonderful with dramatic voices.
i think i have miss spider's tea party memorized, we've read it so many times. a great counting book.
amelia bedelia...even though they don't understand the irony, they find her mistakes pretty humorous.
we also love anything by jan brett, but especially annie and the trolls. she really seems to outsmart them, while still demonstrating the values of Christmas...

Here's what my 2 and half year old is loving this week:
Grumpy Bird - bird wakes up grumpy and determined to stay that way until a crew of animal friends help him change his attitude.
Mommy, do you love me? - a sweet story about a mom's unconditional love for her son (the mom happens to be a chicken btw) and the son's love for him mom.
Bumpety Bump! - a little boy and his grandpa are digging up vegetables in the garden while a little hen watchs them. The bumpety bumping comes from the wheelbarrow that the little boy is riding in. The little hen shows them something of her own (don't want to give away the whole plot .
Millie waits for the mail - hilarious! Millie is a cow and she loves to wait for the mailman and surprise him - the mailman doesn't share her love for her surprises.
