I adore your jacket!! I've been walking around with the Knitting Around book in my bag and was DEVOURING the Bog Jacket pages. I REALLY MUST MAKE IT!
Would you share about how many yards it took you and at what gauge, please? Pretty please with a ball of alpaca on top?

The jacket is beautiful! I am amazed at how smart it looks, it's very wearable.
Maybe, I shouldn't be surprised, so many of EZ's designs look very smart when you see them knitted on people's blogs.

It looks great Jess! I'm always happy to see the first modern interpretation of an EZ classic pop up on blogs (with good photography and fit). I predict a bog trend coming on......
Thanks for sharing.

The sweater turned out beautifully - I dig the icord edging and tonal zipper.
I totally want to hear about your intarsia-in-the-round experiences, it's something I've been meaning to try out for awhile...

The green icord really looks amazing. It certainly came together so nicely, in spite of the "sheepy" early overtones. And I'm impressed at the great fit!

OOOH. I was thinking of a bog jacket before, and got sidetracked, but now that I've seen yours I might try one. Funny thing is that I also have some random aran yarn from Galway that my mom got for me...Anyway, I LOVE your jacket, and the green trim is just the coolest!!

I love this jacket, and all the detailed posting you did while making it are really helpful! I'm planning on doing one with a colorful Manos yarn but wanted to do it using stockinette instead of garter stich. Do you think I'll run into problems making this change? Or is it pretty much the same just substituting the purl rows for knit rows?
Thanks for any advice you may have,
Renata

I've been playing around with this one in my mind for a while - yours is gorgeous & helped me decide that I would definitely go for it.
Maybe I missed it if you posted already, but can you tell me how much wool you used for the body? In oz or yards - either would help. Thanks!
