Not surprsing. A lot of these protestors will do anything to get a quick buck and make people they see as enemies look bad. As I recall, there was a protest in I think California in which one elderly man who was a counterprotestor was trying to drive away in his car, though had to drive really slowly becasue the protestors were swarming all around his car like ants. He did ultimately slowly get out, but a couple of the protestors who were near his car faked injuries, claiming he had run them over, and tried to sue him. Fortunately, an astute observer with a video camera got enough footage of the protest to prove they were faking it.
I'm sure there will be at least 20 such frivolous lawsuits filed by protestors after the DNC.
Maybe that's why Recreate '68 went on a camera hunt - they want to stage injuries in places where proof can't be had to refute their claims. It might be worthwhile for some Drunkabloggers and others to be at the protests with camers to post what really goes on (the MSM will likely push the protester's agenda).
If you are videotaping protestors and they intentionally injure you, you could sue them for everything they've got. Hundreds and hundreds of dollars to be made.

Yes it is. Even before RICO didn't they charge the Chicago 7 1/2 with conspiring to riot across state lines or something?
