If I had a Polish Scarf and lost it on a Scottish train I'd write a book about it. The tough part would be deciding whether to make it a book culminating in the main character having that happen (it'd either be symbolic or lead the character to make the climactic realization), or to make it about the main character running across Scotland trying to retrieve it.
