I think PJB jumped the shark here--in fact, he jumped a WHALE with that column.
Too bad.
This is common shtick for PJB and has pretty much made similar arguments as it relates to the Empire of Japan and the lead up to Pearl Harbor.
He forgets a fundamental lesson of life -- doing right often antagonizes those who wish to do wrong.
Do we condemn the judge that was just murdered by a mafia hitman in response to his sentencing a Don to prison?
