And yet another blogger I missed. We could've had a serious Drinking Right 
I was at a Madison protest many years ago. It was in September and it started on State St. and marched to the Capital grounds. One woman near where I was sitting was trying to get a chant going "Legalize it" but without success. A guy at the fringe of the crowd got busted and with the unity of school of herring changing direction together the crowd started chanting BS.
Another crowd I was in was at a site to witness a public execution (as was I). The big danger was the authorities had multiple jeeps with 50 cal guns watching over the crowd. I was concerned any sort of outburst of those would have set off a stampede. I hung out at the outside edge of the crowd instead of fighting my way to its middle or the front. Fortunately, the only gunfire going off was aimed at the condemned and there was no stampede.
