No, McCain doesn't have much of a chance. And it's not just the money - he's hot and cold for most demographics because he's all over the map. Hard to get any groundswell when you keep shooting yourself in the foot. Dems can do this - a la Hillary - but not Repubs.
But the part that I object to is the lede to this article - I don't think "severing ties" is accurate at all, since money is the only problem. And it's incredibly provocative; turns out, in a cheap way.
C'mon - you don't say things like "I still believe John is by far the best Republican candidate for president" if you're severing ties, especially if you're looking for work with people who'd rather you thought they were the best candidate.
