#1 won't get you prison in Milwaukee. My best friend is in the MPD and he tells me on New Years Eve/Day they don't even respond to reports of shots fired unless someone actually gets hit. They just sit in their squad cars, crack a window and listen to what sounds like a string of firecrackers.
Yeah, I know, I've read some of Patrick's post's live blogging the gunfire on New Year's, but I'm not going to advocate shooting somebody in order to try to write something modestly humorous.
