Yeah, I linked the video from my blog a week or two ago. I found the dvd "electronically" and watched it on my home theater system. Ohhh, the sound!

you ought read the story behind the original "Gone in 60 Seconds" movie.
Much the same types of things going on. Lots of car chases and crashes, all filmed on the streets, in real time, and without permits.
In the filming, they crash into and knock over a light pole on the L.A. freeway at about 90 mph. in morning traffic. They drove (limped) the vehicle off ASAP and left the light pole laying on the ground.
The footage, however, made it into the movie.
