Texican Tattler

Gravatar Tahts fcuinkg asewmoe!

Gravatar I just realised that the FASTER you try to to read this the easier it is.

Gravatar At first, I thought I had had one too many, when I remembered I hadn't even had one.

Gravatar My life as a grammar/spelling nazi is over.

Thank goodness...if I had to hear one more of your rants about grammar, I might have forced you to smoke drew estates while doing your happy dance...

Gravatar So wrong... I was able to read every word.
I'm going to drink heavily now.

Gravatar Oh, really now?

Gravatar Snopes can't even come to a conclusion:

True or not, it was fun.

Gravatar Waitaminute...
You broke the rules.

The first and last letters must be in the right place. You're just scrambling the words.

I scoff at your refutation. Ha!

Gravatar Hvoeewr, the sduty taht was dnoe to mkae tihs cailm sfiecsillapy uesd wrod agreenmarnts taht cloud be elaisy raed. It is not ture.

There! The first and last letter rule keeps all two and three letter words completely unchanged, which really helps readability. The four letter words only get one minor letter switch. Even with 30% of the words in my new paragraph unaltered, it's still not easy to read.

I'm guessing that most of what makes this trick work is a combination of people tending to use lots of small words which get little to no alteration and people getting used to seeing a lot of words spelled in lots of new and unusual ways.

Thanks for pointing the rule I missed.
