A whole web site could be created; just run fantastic tales like this, "Unfired rounds shot in elderly woman's house", or ".357 magnum cases sprayed from revolver". Apparently, one does not need to be questioned about their firearm knowledge before they are hired as a reporter, and that goes for the editors too.

Additional point: All military surplus ammo I've ever seen has annealed necks - discolored. These are brightly polished, which makes me think "commercial."
