I like the fact that Future Weapons is on the air now. The more the general public knows about weapons, the easier it will be to pressure the military to stay up to date.
It is a shame that we have such amazing weapons but the soldiers primary tools are still stuck in the vietnam era.

MY very first M16 issued to me in basic did NOT have a foward assist. It was stamped with the manufacturer's mark though.
General Motors.

How about the nerf darts guns instead? or ping pong ball shooters? sticks and stones? Leave politicians to decide whats best for everyone involved. I'm sure their security agents carry small caliber-non-lethal weapons as well.
