Let's see, CAIR has a long history of telling people to shut up that say anything remotely negative (but true) about islam.
Our Justice Department has a long history of filing suit against those folks who use "hate" speech, which is what CAIR is claiming this sign represents.
As for the bombing, do I really need to explain that one? I would suggest that any religion that openly encourages its supporters to riot, kill, maim, and bomb those who would publish a cartoon would think nothing of doing the same to this Baptist Church.

Well if that's the case, when are those gutless pricks/suicide bombers going to come after me?
Wait... I've already been blessed with a Fartwa.

"Our Justice Department?"
Well, we haven't had a Justice Department since early 2001. Now it's just a contract agency to do the White House plumbing.
Nobody listens to CAIR (certainly you don't; can you name anyone who does?).
Why would fundamentlist terrorists bomb Baptists? Are you saying professional courtesy is dead?

CAIR is the news media darling. Since I suppose that doesn't fit into your world view I would think you'd disagree.
Here's a little blurb from CAIR that responds to the House passage of the anti Hate crime bill:
"CAIR PRAISES HOUSE PASSAGE OF ANTI-HATE CRIMES BILL
(WASHINGTON, D.C., 5/3/2007) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today congratulated the US House of Representatives on its passage of the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act.
To see how your U.S. representative voted, go here: http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2007/...007/
roll299.xml
CAIR has supported the act since 2005 and last week renewed its call for the community to urge elected officials to pass the measure.
SEE: Support the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007
http://capwiz.com/cair/home/
The Senate now must consider its version of the bill, known as S. 1105.
If passed, the law would allow the Attorney General to provide federal assistance to local law enforcement to aid investigations of crimes motivated by "...prejudice based on the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin..." of the victim.
The White House has indicated that it will most likely veto the measure if it reaches the President."
HMMM, seems to me that this bill would make the little Baptist sign a hate crime....
And here's what the islamists think of your professional courtesy:

Here's a little innocent islamic community that sounds to me a lot more nasty than the Koresh compound the Clinton Justice Department was more than willing to torch a few years back. Interesting though, today we are so careful to not hurt anyone's feelings that as long as you're a islamic extremist, carry on.

Surfed your blog. Just what do you stand for? I couldn't find anything there that would prove one way or the other just what you think about anything. Granted, I didn't spend eons there, but your site smacks of the smarmy self gratifying kind of thing I'd expect from today's asexual, middle of the road liberal masquerading as a moderate.
And Titanium - when is the last time you heard of a Christian, Jew, Buddhist or Hindu strapping a bomb on his/her back and blowing up a pizza parlor?

Ive heard of a Christian starting a War, a Jew creating this thing called Christianity, a Buddhist setting himself on fire because he believed his own government intolerant one, and as for a hindu, well.... they have 1 god of 1000 forms, avatars, and then some to fight amongst themselves. But yeah, never blowing up a pizza parlour.
I see where your coming from mate, but what I dont get is are they not all sharing the same God? It's something that bugs me, simply put, God doesn't have a say in any of this crap that goes on...

I hear ya, Titanium. My point being that of all the modern, mainstream (for lack of a better word) religions, there's one that seems to be creating or involved in most of the problems for the rest of the world's population.
