Astute. Accurate. Truthful. And frankly a sad testimony about not only the state of our mainstream media, but also of the focus and attention span of many of our fellow citizens. On the bright side, however, now that the Duke lacrosse "case" has been dropped, we will no doubt now see Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the ACLU and all the other zealots that piled on more than a year ago, charge to the media to apologize to the wrongly accused, correct? Not!!!! And I am betting much of the mainstream media will find their need to cover the issue any longer has suddenly lost its appeal.
