Just hie thee on over to gocomics.com and get your comics every day. Not sure how they are doing things right now, but they used to have free comics emailing of up to XX comics from their collection and more if you paid for a subscription.
You could always go read them every day on the site.
I noticed that this morning. Sports page only now, very little else in the paper.
Did you read their coverage of the bailout bill? Blamed everything on the Republicans.
If they can't do journalism, or won't, can't do comics and have upped the price....forget them.
That's about the only reason I still read the Houston Chronicle online, for the comics! I've even made my own custom comics page (saved in my bookmarks), where I can read only the comics I want and none of the others (goodbye, Apt 3-G! hello, Mallard Fillmore!).
