We have an intersection like that near where I live, lots of traffic and no light. It's interesting to drive through.
sheesh!! this must suck if you moved away from the city to hide from the traffic. wormhole...haha!!
I think it was your ghost punishing you for not making it another samich, it got together with it's wormhole buddy and had him transport some cars to your intersection.
All those abaritions are working against you.
It's hard to tell where all the traffic is from but it's certainly not from Seattle, as all of Seattle's traffic is still here.....

I think "road rage" should be a defense, not a negative.

Well Tim, it did cross my mind. 
I drive through downtown a little before 5:00 AM to go to work and I rarely see another car except my co-workers. It does seem unusual if I see traffic at that time.
