Enlighten Me! :)

That was a fun shoot. I ended up joining the local gun club so I could use that range in the future without needing to ask permission every single shoot.

Awesome, Robert!
More members is always a good thing for a gun club.

Nice shooting Jimmyb and all! I need to stock up on some ammo myself, got some pesky paper varmints that need holes punched in them.

Dedication - yes

Great skill - no !!!

Thanks for hosting

What about some YouTube video for future contests?

Well, to be fair, it was less dedication and more laziness; after all, I'd just bought a gas weedeater and was too lazy to carry it out to my creekbed/range. 7 yard opportunities abound out there, (for defensive practice, I'd call it a 270 degree range as long as I don't get wild enough to shoot over the banks and the rises that border it on three sides) but getting those few extra feet involved changing from my usual practice direction and backing up into previously unused territory.

OTOH, I did get one of the mesquites out of the way so I could actually manage the distance...though since I forgot the saw and the backup clearing device, (12ga riot gun - 3 inch birdshot loads will even cut a decent swath of briar if used right and buck makes short work of even medium to large mesquites) it took a few .38 wadcutters to drop it.

Ah well, now that I know the firing and target placement for 10 yards, I'll have to work in some slowfire practice with each session.
