Enlighten Me! :)

Yep, we sure are.

Too bad there aren't more guys like that old Thomas Jefferson around.

Oh wait there was the one guy.

What was his name, err, hmmm, you know the crazy old guy who is always talking about the Constitution.

Oh now I remember, it was Ron Paul. You know he has been called a modern day Thomas Jefferson and he appears a little smarter every day.

Too bad most American people don't understand freedom, liberty, economics and the Constitution like they did back then. If they did we would not tolerate what is going on today.

Have a good week

One problem - it's not private banks that control the issuance of money. Despite the noise from the fever swamps, the Federal Reserve is an agency of the federal government - a flawed and maverick agency, but nonetheless a governmental agency.

The origins of the current economic situation are well-covered in this: http://www.ibdeditorials.com/ IBD...307149667289804

Leave it to our politicians to make even that sound like a bad thing...

How much do you think our taxes are going to increase to pay for this mess? Probably a bunch...

Our current situation has been decades in the making. The problem really started when FDR abolished the gold standard. We've been on the escalator to economic hell ever since.

Don't worry, Obama will fix it!

You voted for Ron Paul? I know McCain was bad, but by throwing your vote away you helped put Obama in power. I hope you don't vote libertarian when it really matters in local and Congressional elections!

A vote for Ron Paul was really a vote for Obama. Paul was a spoiler, and that is the effect spoilers have. He certainly was not a serious candidate at all.

I'm glad mcLame lost.

But not happy that BHO was elected, I'll bet...

True as well.

And actually, I voted for Ron Paul in the primary, and Chuck Baldwin in the election, as Paul was not on the actual election ballot.
