Enlighten Me! :) |
Lets see. |
Pelosi is a sign of everything that's wrong with this Congress. |
The price is not important for people like her, there is no price she can't afford to pay. She and the others probably get their gas free of charge, even in their personal vehicles. |
Stop being a bunch of pussies. Jeez, this is Bush's plan! You voted for the jackass. Stop blaming some old Grandmother. Are you telling me she's telling Bush what's what? Pussy ass complaining. Cowboy up, fer Chissakes... |

"We learned the hard way that |

Pelosi is a nitwit, the botox has frozen her brain. |
The Democrats will allow us to drill when the UN mandates it. |
That's called a constituency. As you say, she's rich, so as long as she gets to keep her job in Congress, she'll oppose offshore drilling for the votes. Even though we all suffer for it. |
Tim, you are not serious are you? |
No, he's right. Just because Pelosi is a total ass doesn't mean Bush isn't. It's Washington in general that's to blame. The Republicans for starting stupid wars and the Democrats for not allowing us to drill oil. |
Therein lies the reason that Pelosi (and her Conresss') approval numbers are the lowest of all time. Even lower than that "jackass" Bush. |
Just by rescinding the Executive order the price of gas dropped, and they say "We can't drill our way out of this" - the cold, regulatory hole they dug with environmentalists, the grave they want to lay down in and pull Civilization up over their heads and die. That's the undertaker Harry Reid, Death's man on the job in DC... |
Let's start a massive boycott of tourism in Cali and Lost Wages. Stay closer to home, don't go giving jobs to people "smart" enough to vote for those unprintables. |
Robert M; just what war did the Republicans (and I'm sure you mean GWB) start? I seem top remember 3 out of 4 planes that were flown into 3 different buildings and only for the heroism of some passengers with stones was the last building saved. They gave their lives for ours so to speak. Your other comments on this page seem well thought out, and not just because they happen to agree with mine. Please do not fall into this Bush bashing just 'cause he seems stupid at times also. He has done many things correct even if for the wrong reasons, kinda like a lucky stumbler. |
The one in Iraq. As I remember, the attacks were out of Afghanistan. |
Robert M.; all of our wars have been fought poorly since Truman let Korea stalemate in 1953. The reason being civilian control of the military by people who have no control over their unbridled egomania, IMHO. Gas prices are high because Red China and India are developing nations who are paying any price set and will pay as much as it cost to get it. Gas prices are high because the congress has refused for 30 years to build refineries or allow offshore drilling, but gas prices are not high because of Bush or the war being fought poorly. I imagine that a lot of leftist in this country who kept shouting "no war for oil" wish now that it really was for the oil. I know I had hoped we would get free oil out of the deal and I still think we should take over all the oil fields now and pay them in wheat. We need the oil, they need the wheat. We could pay them in infastructure, they need that. We could pay them in a lot of ways but no matter what we should take their oil. The world thinks badly of us anyway so why worry about it. |
I agree with all of that, except the rejection that one of the contributing factors is the war. I actually found some stats in my textbook last year (of all places) that shows oil prices from 2000 - 2006. The major spike that started all this was in 2003, the same year of the Iraq War. |
Pelosi will be pro-drilling if and when Obama is elected. They want to 'cure' our energy crisis on their watch. |

Remember...Obama knows that the most important barrel of oil is the barrel of oil you don't use. |
