Gravatar The IFCO case will no doubt turn out to be another "Tyson Two-Step", like the case against Tyson Foods, in Tennessee in 2003. In that case, two mid-level managers were chosen as sacrificial lambs to take the fall for the company. In spite of overwhelming evidence that everyone from the very top management on down was involved in the hiring, transportation, housing and providing phony identification documents, no one in "top management" even got charged. The two mid-level fall guys got fined a grand total of $5,000.00 and each received one year's probation. And this "serious" penalty was assessed after the DOJ spent millions of taxpayer dollars to conduct what they said was a "three year investigation and a six week trial".

What's even more moronic is the fact that Tyson Foods continues to employ illegal aliens in their meat processing plants in other states and probably is back to hiring them in Tennessee, too.

Anyone want to take bets on whether ANYONE from IFCO will EVER see a day in prison in this case?
