The Vecchio's have been working for a while to discredit Santorum. His wife is on the school board. They attacked him this fall for using a PA cyber school, which is considered public school, not "homeschool" because the family did not reside in PA for what they considered enough time. So the family pulled out of the cyber school and did traditional homeschool again even though it was not proven legally that they had to. They also tried to sue him to pay for the cyber schooling, which is free since it is considered public school because they felt he had no right to the free schooling, which also was not proven. School districts hate any type of charter schools and fight them at any chance. Santorum is not a hypocryte. He professes that family is important and he lives it. Instead of keeping his family away from him for many months a year, they live with him. What a concept. How many senators have condos near DC that cost just as much as his house in Leesburg, and live by themselves and leave their family at home? Then you hear about adultery, and senate "pages" involved? Santorum is doing the right thing, and he is within the law. That is what matters. Is he complying with the law? Then that is all that matters. And unlike so many politicians, he lives what he preaches. He makes his family a priority. I live in Penn Hills. I homeschool my children. I have worked at Santorum's polling place in the past, which could not open for over an hour this last election because of Vecchio's challenge to his right to vote. I'm sure many other Republican's were prevented from voting because of that, because that polling place has a good amount of Republicans in comparison to other polling places in Penn Hills which is predominately Democrat. And they come first thing in the morning. When I've worked there I've talked to Vecchio. He is a tricky guy. An older woman working for the Republicans came to work the polls, and he had her handing out Democratic cards till someone cleared up her confusion. I have also spoken to Santorum's in-laws who vote at the same place. They are very nice and good people. I had a statement that somehow went to their mailbox for stock that I previously owned, and she personally delivered it to my house...we had been away so she wrote a note on it. She realized it had confidential information and wanted to make sure we got it. I didn't know who she was at the time, until later when I met her at the polls. These are honest people. If Santorum is breaking the law, then show the law. Vecchio's haven't proven anything yet. Are they Casey opperatives? I don't really think so,I have not looked into it, but in what they are doing as Democrats is trying to prevent his re-election, so in that way, they are working for Casey, officially or not.
