You want to see Liriano against major league batters in major league situations. The Twins should take a second look on Friday and then make a decision on Francisco. Considering the need for a fifth starter is "nill" for nearly a month after that, I'm sure a demotion to Rochester to pitch on a regular basis (three more starts) would do wonders for Liriano. And then the Twins could basically repalce him with Cuddyer. And those extra 20 days might set him abck...but wouldn't he be a super 2-guy?
