I'm curious on to what people think the new field will do to his defense. If the grass slows things down, is his lack of range as big an issue?
I'm not sure if the Twins bring him back. First, I think they'll kick the tires of a Hardy trade and see what else is out there. I would suspect Cabrera will be a late signing again, whereever he goes.

I dont think he was valuable this last year and I think hes likely to get worse. He's never gotten on base, he's never had good power and he was terrible defensively last year. Last year he had a RAR of 6 in 700 PAs which is similar to Gomez' RAR in half the PAs. Also he'll probably be looking for a 2 year deal at 4-8 mil per. Forget Cabrera, he wasn't valuable last year and it's very possible he'll be getting worse quickly.
