Hamas' victory in the Palestinian quarters of Israel may be the final straw in the roadmap to peace.

Democracy is undoubtedly the best way to elect a government but it relies solely on the ability of the electorate to be informed enough to make a good choice. To wit: Palestine has not had a meaningful election, of this magnitude, in decades.

Hamas will either renounce terrorism or Israel will move to remove them by force.
