Gravatar Maybe you are joking when you write "Hopefully every Estonian will have a Hummer one day", well I hope you are.

Personally I find owners of Hummer some of the biggest idiots and egoist one can find. So much polution. These people don't care about anybody.

It's a huge shame for Estonia to have the most Hummer's per capita. No reason at all the proud about it.

Hopefully every Estonian will drive by bicycle in the city one day, that would be smarter.

Gravatar so it's true what they say about the estonian sense of humor - only the brits get it...

Gravatar Well, yes, it is kind of crazy, but let's not forget how much more expensive it is in other countries to own a 760 or S600 (look to Germany, Finland!) in terms of yearly insurance payments for example. Secondly I guess most luxury cars are in company's car pool and thanks to nice tax system one can buy a company car and pay 0% income-tax for the money taken out of a company and "invested" into a car.

has anybody been in Riga recently?

Gravatar Funny thing about SUVs and Hummers is that people buy them thinking they are 'safer' for the drivers, but they actually tip-over more easily than a normal car.
IMO, road safety as a whole should be improved in Eesti, and we drivers here should do our best to respect traffic laws and speed limits. The Baltics have some of the worse records in the EU of deaths on the road (pedestrians and passengers). The rullnoks don't help the statistics

Gravatar Toy for the big boys – that’s the best description of Hummer vehicles. Such luxury cars are definitely not in the same level as our ordinary cars.
People are really interested in these cars, cause its huge sizes, unusual style, military history. Hummer limo playing role as a wedding transport is also not a surprise.
I am glad that Estonia is also interested in it.
