I would just like to let you know how absolutely flattered I am by the amount of writing that has been done one my little column about the Bush inaugural speech and his administration in general. As a columnist, I always aspire to make people think and feel something when reading my writing. Even if people don't agree with what I say, as you obviously don't, it is great to see that my writing was able to provoke such a time investment. Carefully considering the other side's argument is the best way to strengthen your own, wouldn't you agree? |

By the way- you could have written us a letter and I would have posted it. Just remember that the word limit for LTE's is 250 at the most (150 preffered maximum). I welcome dissenting voices, and I actually try very hard to recruit all voices for the paper. So please, I hope to get a letter from you soon (about a specific and recent article or editorial). I think your logic is off in #3. You establish that god wills good things, and that god CAN will anything, but in #7 you reverse them by implying that everything that is good is willed by god. Nowhere in your syllogism do you establish that everything good is willed by god. Just like if I say |
