Oh boy! You've REALLY got your hands full now! I know it's hard to watch someone you love be mistreated ... but try not to be TOO hard on them... it is very stressful being a caregiver... and none of us does it 'joyfully' all the time! I'm sure she IS in a better place now and I'm happy for her! And I will keep YOU in my prayers! *not that I don't already!* And how is Warren doing these days?

I'm so glad that you're able to take over MIL's care. I know that she'll be much happier now.
What a blessing that you'll be able to do this for her.
You mentioned that her bedding required washing each morning. My MIL used to get these bed pads to put on the bed. I wonder if something like that would be helpful in your case.

I am not that old 71 and I use bladder control pads!! They are wonderful! While my daughter was here from MX she got me a huge sack ot them!! I know they cost a lot but they are worth every penny!! I hope this wasn't TMIF !
Nancy has mental problems besides being slow and there is no way she could care for anyone! It is all Kelly and I can do to care for her!! She is on three kinds of meds for her mental health.
You are doing a wonderful thing for Warren's Mother!
Please don't get too tired and take some time for you, Jane. Easiers said then done I know!!
I will be praying God gives you, Grace and lots of love taking care of her. I am so blessed with Kelly. I know sometimes it takes me so long to do some things and she is so good about this!! OK, I am writing a book!! Hugs Grams

Yeah, my first thought was the same as Daisy's and Melli's...how are YOU doing? I am praying for all of you and know that God is there with you for strength.
I think there is a lot of abuse out there of the elderly for many of the tolerance reasons you mentioned. It's sad for sure.

You know, I take that "do unto others" command very seriously. I even teach my students that if they do something, they are giving others permission to do the same thing to them.
I wonder if these two women have any idea what kind of future they are inviting for themselves. My heart hurts. I have said prayers for all concerned, most especially your mother-in-law, although I am sure that one was already answered through your actions.
