So good to hear that he is doing well.. What a journey he has in front of him...... I am sure that there will be days when he is discouraged but we are praying daily, and HE, the Father God is watching....

Thank you ma'am! I'm sure that he does get downhearted sometimes... but it sounds like for the most part he's handling it very well! That's good! I do keep praying for him! I hope soon he will feel up to updating us himself!

EVERYONE says that at first it is hard to get it all in -- and especially the quantity of fluids they're supposed to drink! But it will all work out...

It sounds like he is progressing wonderfully. Last year, I had thought about having this done as well, went to the workshop, even went to the 1st doctor appointment. But, I had 3 specific goals I wanted to achieve before getting it done and didn't. Laying in the hospital this month I kept thinking how much I wish I was there for "good" instead of what I was actually there for I was amazed though how "not hungry" I was not getting to eat for a whole week (nothing...but ice chips, and not many of those).

Anyway -- sounds like he is getting along well. Make sure you are getting rest and not over taxing yourself as well.
