So if Mars is experiencing global warming too, then the problem will be solved for us. By the time Earth becomes too hot for us, Mars should be about right. We can just move there.

As a friend noted - it is logically impossible to deny the future. That pesky logic thing - who needs it?

The climate is changing is undeniable. It has been changing since the planet formed. It goes thru periods of heating and periods of cooling. To say that man is totally responsible for the current "warming" cycle is pure BS.
True, we may not be helping the situation and it would be good for the US to cut down on oil dependancy, both for environmental and political reasons.

Did anyone catch the program on National Geographic yesterday about the earth's cooling off due to the volcanoes?
I wish they'd make up thier minds so I'd know what to panic about!

Me, too. It seems like every couple of decades or so, there's a new "Day After Tomorrow" Chicken Little scenario for me to lose sleep over.

"If I denied that I would die from an elephant falling on top of me..."
I think history will prove that you are much more likely to die as the result of the direct actions of a bunch of "Jackasses" than having an elephant fall on you.
Ever thought about the concept that if the world is not in eminent danger the liberals can't save it?

I deny that the Gators won the Basketball and Football National Championships last year. Heck, I deny any National Championship they have ever won in any sport.

Steve,
Thanks for the denial tips on the Gators and their national titles. I'm gonna deny those things happened, too! (Sorry, RV! )

Tisha,
Yes, the argument is idiotic. But the way I see it, you have one of two choices:
1. Swallow the global "warming" argument (i.e. the Earth is burning up, and it's our fault), whether you actually believe it or not;
2. Remain skeptical because of genuine scientific doubts, and be lumped into the "Holocaust deniers" category.
Damn, I really didn't want to be thrown into the anti-Semitic group and deny the Holocaust! Oh, well, I guess I'll jump on the #1 bandwagon above so as not to look bigoted. Or not.
