Whoever propagated the notion that liberals would want this, or any song, banned is full of crap. However, the song reeks of emotional wartime propaganda, and was most likely written, recorded and marketed in conjunction with a contract from the white house (Like all other "New Country" quasi-patriotic pap).

Fuck Toby Keith and Fuck Nashville.
