Since Conspiracy Nation has been checked out from the library for the past few days, is it okay to use Knight's other book on reserve, Conspiracy Culture, as a reference?

Yes, you can use anything I put on reserve. I am also going to post a couple of the more important chapters in "Conspiracy Nation" as pdfs.

can we include subjects that we haven't fully gone over in class but have discussed a little and have class texts about like masonry and mccarthyism?

To Shelby:
Yes, you can talk about anything that is in the readings, but I guess I would urge a little caution with Antimasonry, especially. There is a lot more to that we will get to later.

Is there a minimum or maximum amount of quotes/citations we can have?
Also when I use the header/footer feature in MS Word, I applied it the same way you did in class today but it never brought up a number to correspond with the footer note. Is there anyway to fix this or is it fine how it is?

There is no maximum or minimum number of references. You do need to show that you have engaged the reading pretty deeply. Not sure what is going on with your footnotes. Make sure you are in the "Print Layout" mode and the number format settings are correct on the "reference" menu.

If we quote the same source on multiple pages, do we put a citation in the footnote of each of those pages or just the first one and refer back to it each other time? I hope this makes sense...

If you cite something another time later in a paper, on you can shorten the reference, unless it was short already, and just give that, along the page number. Typically, you should be citing the exact page where got something, meaning that you might cite different pages of the same source in various different notes. You can also cite more than once source in the same note, separating them with semi-colons. Finally, if you cite all the same material in consecutive notes, you can use the abbreviation Ibid.
There are plenty of examples on the page I linked to in the main post, and you can also how I do it in pretty much any of my papers listed at my home page, http://jeff.pasleybrothers.com .

I had a question about the Rapture. Do believers think that Jesus comes back right before the end of the earth and only takes the dead people, or is it all people? I can't remember exactly why it was that people were committing suicide.

This is covered in some of the reading and in some web resources. The Rapture is supposed a time before the end when Jesus returns and takes "the Church" to heaven, meaning primarily evangelical Protestants who believe in this system, and babies. Everyone else is "left behind" to enjoy The Tribulation before Christ returns for the last time. For more, see Darby's chart at http://area214a.blogspot.com/200...re-
visuals.html , and the PBS website at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/fr...ows/apocalypse/

Can you give us any more information on the term papers? I have it noted that we are expected to have our paper proposal by Thursday, but I'm not sure what type of paper you are looking for.
