Yeah, I pretty much hate the socks I made from my Lion Brand magic stripes. But for me it was my first pair and great cheap yarn to learn on! I do wear them sometimes with my clogs though...
So...if you don't like the yarn, why complete them? Or are they for someone else?
I just started some magic stripe socks, too. They are my first pair ever and I'm following the pattern on the inside. A little confusing but with the help of Ann Budd's Handy Book of Patterns, I've turned the heel. My urge was to buy some pretty Opal I saw at the lyc the other day but I'll stick with the Lion for now. Good luck! Can't wait to see them.
