1999 vintage i-Book, eh?
I wonder how much you can make selling it on ebay. I'm sure there are people who collect these things out there.

Adrian -- You are probably right! It's actually the Special Edition, which had the charcoal-grey contrast color and the...um, higher processing speed? More memory? Maybe both. I can't remember. But anyhow, this iBook is staying with me for a while, for travel and just-in-case purposes.
Paul -- Welcome! I agree, although I totally lack the technical prowess to say why. All I know is (a) they seem to crap out less often, (b) they are still the standard in most of the publishing industry, which means I have a perfect excuse to get one, and (c) viruses and hacker attacks tend to be designed for the other 90 percent of the market, and therefore they tend to roll off my computer's back.
