Gravatar I really hope this takes off in the religious community. There is a positive feeling toward making improvements in the environment, and those things are a draw to the religious communities who take part in helping the poor. When it comes to the environment, I think more people are beginning to see that there's something to the topic of Global Warming. I think the natural disasters that have been happening are really opening people's eyes in churches across the nation, like the flooding in the northeastern US. This hurricane season has everyone holding their breath and hoping, but nature always has the final say. We'll see how it goes. I'm sure the people in the bible-belt will be doing their fair share of praying that the tornados and hurricanes will be kind and stay away.

Gravatar The thing that's eating me up is that Al Gore made this amazing movie about an urgent global issue, but the film is barely distributed. I am really surprised that Al Gore has not made his movie freely available on the internet... for everyone to be able to see. BitTorrent... whatever it takes.

So, I just sat down and hand-wrote and snail-mailed a letter to him, hoping to reach his attention.

At the same time, I blogged the letter here:

If this is something you feel you could write about, pass on, link to, re-voice, comment on, or even just ponder, please feel free.

Best,
Michael
